• Activity 2 — Information Gap: Partner A and Partner B receive complementary schedules or pictures. They must question each other to fill the gaps without showing their sheets.
Stage 4: Communicative Free Production (25–30 mins)
• Goal: Authentic, spontaneous language output. The teacher steps back, monitors, and collects error samples.
• Recommended Tasks:
- Roleplay / Dilemma Resolution: Job interview scenarios, solving a travel incident, or budget negotiation.
- Mini-Debate: Four corners activity (Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree).
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Teams design an emergency response kit or a new community initiative.
Stage 5: Delayed Error Correction & Wrap-Up (5–10 mins)
• Collective Correction: Write 4–5 anonymous mistakes heard during Stage 4 on the board (covering pronunciation, grammar, and word choice). The class works together to fix them.
• Exit Ticket: Each student writes one new collocation or structure they actively used during the session.
